Studies in Spain

Spain is a premier destination for Moroccan students, offering a world-class education system with numerous universities ranked among the top 100 globally, all while maintaining accessible and straightforward study requirements.

Available Study Paths

Moroccan students have diverse opportunities to advance their careers in Spain:

  • Spanish Language Programs: Develop your fluency before or during your studies.

  • PCE Selectividad Preparation: Enroll in specialized courses to prepare for the university entrance exam.

  • Vocational Training: Gain practical, career-oriented skills.

  • University Majors: Pursue undergraduate or postgraduate degrees in your chosen field.

Studying in Spain Without Prior Language Proficiency

You do not need to be fluent in Spanish to start your journey in Spain. A very important option available to you is to apply for a student visa specifically to study the Spanish language in Spain for your first year.

  • How it works: You can apply for a visa to attend a Spanish language course, which serves as your gateway to the country.

  • The Dirassa Advantage: At Dirassa, we specialize in helping Moroccan students secure official university acceptance letters. This acceptance is a crucial requirement that allows our students to obtain a student visa to study the Spanish language during their first year in Spain.

  • Why choose this path: This allows you to immerse yourself in the language and culture, ensuring you are fully prepared to transition into your desired academic major or vocational training after completing your first year of language study.

Key Admissions Requirements

To study in Spain, you must meet two fundamental conditions:

  1. Certificate Equivalence: You must obtain an official equivalence between your Moroccan academic certificates and their Spanish counterparts.

  2. Spanish Language Proficiency: You must demonstrate mastery of the language through one of these two options:

    • The Selectividad (PCE) Exam: This entrance exam is organized in Morocco twice a year (June and September) in cities including Tangier, Nador, Tetouan, El Jadida, Marrakech, Fes, Casablanca, and Rabat.

    • The DELE Exam: Administered by the Cervantes Institute on behalf of the Spanish Ministry of Education and Vocational Training, this diploma certifies your proficiency in Spanish as a foreign language.

Note: Once you pass the Selectividad or earn your DELE diploma, you are eligible to register at a Spanish university.

To apply for a spot at a Spanish university, prepare the following:

Securing Your Student Visa

A student visa is mandatory for your journey. The most critical requirement is holding an official Letter of Acceptance from your chosen Spanish university for your specific program or semester.
